Simply put, Quality Time is undivided attention, meaningful interaction, a valued experience. In today’s distracted, overstimulated world, being seen, heard and understood is important for mental health and recovery.

What is Quality Time?

It all starts with reaching out. Request a free phone consultation to talk about your needs and the Quality Time approach to mental health.

After consultation…

…we will schedule your first in-person or telehealth visit. Before the first appointment you will receive a link to create an online patient account with all the required forms.

For your first visit…

…make sure to complete the online forms ahead of time and arrive a few minutes early. Then find a comfortable spot in the lobby to relax with some coffee, tea or water. There is no need to check in, I will find you as soon as I’m available.

A spacious, modern waiting room with gray and beige furniture, including a sofa and chairs, a small round marble table, a bookshelf filled with magazines, and large windows letting in ample natural light.
A hallway in a medical or office building with light blue walls, framed botanical artwork, wood flooring, and a small rug. There is a white door on the right and an exit sign at the end of the hall.

We’ll walk down this hallway towards my office.

A small, cozy office with a gray wood floor, a blue couch on the left, a gray armchair near the window, and a white desk with a computer monitor and lamp. Multiple windows let in natural light, and there are decorative items and artwork on the walls.

Feel free to sit down on the sofa and we will get started. Most sessions last between 45 - 55 minutes but the first one can take slightly longer to make sure I have all the information I need.

After your intake, we will co-create an individualized treatment plan including your own goals and how we can measure success together. Building rapport and practicing compassion as I get to know you are a part of the process. The length of therapy varies a lot across clients with some feeling they got what they needed after a few months, and others find value and stability for longer-term work on a maintenance level. When you have gained what you need from our work together, we complete a therapy discharge. This is administrative for managing my files, and your case can be re-opened in the future if you would like to return.

Thank you for your willingness to pursue self-improvement and for your trust in me as well as the process. I look forward to working with you.
